As part of the EU Horizon 2020 programme, Simen Kvaal (PhD) was awarded an ERC Starting Grant for the proposal BIVAQUM. The project started April 2015 and will last for 5 years. The topic is method development for computational chemistry, and the project unifies mathematical analysis, chemistry, and theoretical physics.
A new publication!
A. Laestadius and S. Kvaal has analyzed the extended coupled-cluster method using the bivariational principle. It is the first building block in the general analysis of the bivariational principle.
The Centre for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (CTCC) is a Norwegian National Centre of Excellence established between the University of Oslo and the Artic University of Norway in Tromsø.
